This product contains alkali; do not use if the scalp is irritated or damaged. Do not use on hair treated with thioglycolate (permed curls). Do not use on bleached or permanently colored hair that is breaking, splitting, or otherwise damaged. Do not use with compound henna or metallic hair dyes. If you do not know the type of hair color used, contact the hair color manufacturer to find out. If hair has been previously textured or loosened, apply only to new growth as directed in the user guide.
